About Us
Caromal Colours® grew out of one woman's dream. Carol Kemery's vision started in 2002. She had an idea that anyone could achieve a beautiful decorative finish for their home, given the right materials and a little instruction. So, along with her daughter Katie, a freshman at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, she submitted her business plan to an entrepreneur competition at Temple and took home first prize. Over the next few years, she worked tirelessly putting the components together. In 2007, Caromal Colours® was officially incorporated.
Carol’s passion is teaching homeowners that paint, color, design and the painted finish are part of a cozy fulfilling lifestyle. After 15 years of helping clients, she has made decorative finishes accessible to anyone and everyone through Caromal Colours®. Her forte is transforming the complicated and often overwhelming process of choosing color and painting finishes into an approachable, humorous, fun and achievable event.

In 2005, Carol began Do It Yourself...Professionally, a series of decorative painting workshops for the homeowner. Word spread quickly as students brought family and friends to the studio to learn and have fun. Currently her workshops series is only offered at the Caromal Colours® studio in Pennsylvania. Coming soon, these workshops will be available throughout the country at the studios of trained, professional decorative painters.
Currently Caromal Colours® offers two collections, the Country Living Artisan's Collection and RECLAIM. More collections are currently in design. Of course none of this is possible without her team of artisan's as well as business advisors who keep our creative spirit bathed in reality.
