See an heirloom bed transformed from trash to treasure

Wow - did we have fun with this project! Larry Bilotti, Executive Editor of Country Living, found an old bed on the street in Manhattan. Larry's instinct was that it was not time for this bed to be laid to rest (of course our pun was intended!). He knew with a little tender loving care, this long forgotten piece could be turned into a cozy addition to his guest room. So he turned to the design team of Caromal Colours® for inspiration. The only catch - the only products that could be used had to be a part of the Country Living Artisan's Collection. Why? So that anyone could achieve the same beautiful results in thier own home. |
So our talented team of artisan's created a beautiful new bed, out of someone else's junk! We did take slight liberty in the project and created a new Textured Basecoat color just for Larry (so that it fit the decor of his home!) We liked the color so much we decided to add it to the Country Living Artisan's Collection so everyone can enjoy it! You'll find it in Distressed for Success...called Bayberry. (We like to call it LB Green!!)
