STENCILING -painting pattern- uses the perfect combination of creativity and guidance to create a truly personalized, fun, and creative DIY experience.
Use painted pattern to accent walls, furniture and accessories. Our unique Sticky-Back Stencils and translucent Stencil Cremes make it easy to unleash the artist within.
You can also be creative when determining where to place your design. Typical placement around the top of the room or above a chair rail work wonderfully. But think about using stenciled designs in less obvious places as well. For example use one or more stencils to create stripes!

This custom Poppy stencil is such a great example of why we love painting pattern. By layering the Stencil Crème, you can achieve a mural effect on walls and furniture.
This stencil is named after one of Carol's children, who is lovingly called Bird. The stencil shown here is in Carol's bathroom. An unexpected yet welcomed spot for pattern.
One of more dramatic stencils, Grace's Damask can add a lot of interest to a wall or an entire room. This reminds us of an enchanting European castle!
Try combining two techniques to create a truly unique DIY, as we did here by stenciling over a distressed paint finish.
For this DIY, we stenciled our hydrangea onto an old cabinet. The cabinet is painted in Wisteria with Toner and the stencil is layered with Lilac, Berry Blue, Mossy Green, and Mother Earth.
Country Living Magazine keeps us on our toes. Here, we used the Hydrangea in Snowberry on the back of a chair! How gorgeous does this look. Photo Credit: Country Living Magazine Nov 2010 - Lucas Allen

WHAT YOU NEED
WHAT DO I NEED?
1.Stencil 2.Stencil Crème 3.Brushes 4.Rag 5.Toner (optional and not pictured)
HOW MUCH DO I NEED?
Our Stencil Crème goes a long way. If you are doing a large stencil along the top of an average sized dining room, one jar will last the entire room. However, layering colors created depth and interest so we recommend 1-3 colors for any job.
